Dr. Hagen Hultzsch / Chairman Zimory
Dr. Hagen Hultzsch has more than 40 years’ experience in technology management. Up until 2001, Hultzsch was a member of the management board of Deutsche Telekom, where he was responsible for research and development, information technology, and quality. During Hultzsch's tenure, Deutsche Telekom evolved from a government-owned organization into a publicly-owned corporation with four separate business units. Prior to his work with Deutsche Telekom, Hultzsch held various executive positions at Volkswagen AG, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and GSI, a German research organization. Previously, Hultzsch served as the chair of the Supervisory Board of T-Venture Holding in Bonn, Germany, a corporate venture capital firm focusing on high technology investments in telecom software, wireless communications equipment, computer software and internet infrastructure.
Clemens Kabel / Senior Investment Manager
IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft
Clemens Kabel is responsible for the ICT investments of IBB Beteiligungs- gesellschaft with more than 10 years’ experience in the early and later stages of venture capital. Kabel is an expert in enterprise software, business intelligence and mobile communications. Before entering the VC business Kabel was a senior project manager and software engineer at Bosch and Siemens Hausgeraete GmbH. Following this Kabel worked for the governmental technology agency of the German Federal Land Brandenburg where he was responsible for governmental grants for SME and public, private partnership projects with Deutsche Telekom and Microsoft.
Oliver Fietz / Fund Manager T-Venture
Oliver Fietz is a Fund Manager at T-Venture, the Corporate Venture Capital arm of Deutsche Telekom AG. His more than 15 years of experience in the equity industry comprises of positions in private equity, venture capital and M&A advisory.
By joining T-Venture he took over the value management of international investments in the telecommunication area.
Today, Oliver is running the T-Corporate Venture Fund overseeing investments in emerging markets and in seed stage companies. Recent activities include not only external early stage investments but the realization of corporate spin-offs and investments in incubated companies. Focus for emerging markets is Central and Eastern Europe as well as Asia.
Oliver holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne and an Advanced Management Certificate from Instituto de Empresa (Madrid) and University of Chicago.
Holger Heinen / Investment Manager
High-Tech Gründerfonds
Holger Heinen is an investment manager with the High-Tech Gründerfonds, an investment fund focusing on young, high-opportunity technological companies. Heinen was an entrepreneur before he became an investment professional.
He has more than 8 years’ experience in managing a young IT company and has led the development of a geo information system.
Christian Stein / Investment Manager Creathor
Christian Stein is Investment Manager at Creathor Venture, focusing on information technology, telecommunications, software, internet and new media. Prior to Creathor Venture, he worked as strategy consultant and IT professional for several years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Arthur Andersen and IBM.
He also gained experience as entrepreneur and co-founder of an IT consulting
start-up.
Klaus-Juergen Buss / Head of Finance Deutsche Telekom Laboratories (Guest Advisory Member)
Klaus Juergen Buss has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance. He is head of finance for Deutsche Telekom Laboratories which belongs to the central Product and Innovation division of Deutsche Telekom. Before joining Deutsche Telekom Buss had been the inter alia head of the finance department of Lufthansa Systems and CFO of Planet Internet, a KPN B.V. spin-off.
