Ruediger Baumann / CEO
Ruediger Baumann is the CEO of Zimory. He is responsible for the company’s vision, finance and global market execution. With more than 30 years of experience within IT and communication industries, it was Mr. Baumann’s vision that laid the groundwork for a global cloud computing marketplace based on industry standards. Prior to joining Zimory, he served in well-known enterprises such as Philips, ADC and start-ups including British Telecom spin off companies. Previous management roles included CEO, Managing Director and VP Sales & Marketing.
Maximilian Ahrens / Chief Product Officer
Maximilian Ahrens is the Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Zimory. Previously he served as a research scientist at the innovation development laboratory at Deutsche Telekom. Responsible for infrastructure and enterprise IT projects, spanning multiple divisions of Deutsche Telekom, Maximilian Ahrens is an expert on enterprise IT and business processes. Before Deutsche Telekom, he led several business process re-engineering projects for major German companies. Maximilian studied Industrial Engineering at Berlin Technical University.
Mario Sliskovic / Financial Director
As Financial Director, Mario is responsible for finance, accounting, planning, controlling and administration. Before joining Zimory, Mario worked for the Bank of Scotland in Berlin, where he built the financial structure during its foundation. Mario was also employed for several years in a tax consulting firm. He studied economics with a specialization in Auditing/ Accounting and Taxes.
Helen Edwards / Marketing Director
Helen is the Director of Marketing at Zimory. Helen joined Zimory in 2010 and is responsible for its global marketing communications, public relations, events and market intelligence. Previously Helen managed marketing and events for organizations across the entire value chain; she has worked for communications start-ups as well as a leading industry organization. Helen has an MSc Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Peter Caron / Vice President Engineering
Peter is a specialist in systems integration and network development with a focus on virtualization technology. Over the past 14 years he has led international teams in J2EE and J2ME development, system and network design as well as administration and deployment projects. Previously Peter worked for both IT start-ups and global organisations in Germany, the UK and France. He has been most recently involved in open source development as well as advancing Green IT initiatives including successful server and desktop virtualization. For the past two years, Peter has served as the Global Ambassador for the Foundation for IT Sustainability (FFITS.org). Previous management roles include CEO, Director of New Technologies and Director of Pre-Sales Engineering.
Benjamin Schmidt / Head of Services and Support
Ben is responsible for managing Zimory’s service and customer support team. His responsibilities include providing support for service introduction, product installation and configuration phases. During his time at Zimory he completed a diploma thesis on “Global Storage Systems in a Cloud Computing Environment”. Prior to joining Zimory Ben worked for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and DaimlerChrysler. From 2003 to 2008 Ben studied Media Science & Communication Technologies at the HTW- Aalen (University of Applied Science), Germany.
